Red 紅酒，不甜。Ready but will keep 已適飲，有在存放價值 葡萄品種：95% Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot & Cabernet Franc 產區：Italy Piedmont Springtime is here and in full bloom at Gaja’s Darmagi Vineyard, the first Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard in Piedmont planted in the heart of Barbaresco in 1978. Although Giovanni Gaja (1908-2002) loved thinking differently, when he first saw the newly planted vineyard he couldn’t help exclaiming, “Darmagi!” “ an expression in the Piedmontese dialect meaning “what a pity”! The same word gave the wine its name. Someone 1997 tasting note: dark opaque red-purple. Excellent Bordeaux nose of dark ripe fruits, leather, tobacco, sous-bois & truffles. Full bodied, excellent firm tannins, excellent balance & outstanding harmony, superb structure, excellent complexity, light liquorice flavours, rich dark fruits flavours, perfect barrel oak balance, seducing finsih and aftertaste!
